03. Personality: Nikki is quiet and doesn't talk much. She has some shifter friends, but she stays away from humans in case they find out her secret. She normally eats human food unless money is tight. Then she hunts. She doesn't always enjoy hunting, but a wolf has to do what a wolf has to do. When Nikki is around her friends, she is much more talkative and a lot less shy.

Nikki was born in Arizona originally. She had two brothers and a little sister who was only a couple years younger then her. Nikki had always admired and loved wolves, but living in the city she never had a real chance to see one. The closet thing she had ever seen were coyotes on the outskirts of town. Once, when she was fourteen, she changed into a wolf. It was at night and she was walking home after a school basketball game. When she shifted into a wolf for the first time, it was one of the scariest things she had ever experienced.

Once she figured out how to shift back, she ran home, not telling soul what had happened. Nikki started acting weird around her family and they all thought she was depressed, but it was really just her secretive double life.

Four years later, Nikki moved to Alaska. Phoenix was too hot for her when she phased into a wolf. Her parents didn't have a clue why she would want to live someplace so cold. But she just needed to get far away from the city. Alaska has really been a great, open place for her. Even other shifters have been noticed by her.
